UNESCO has officially inscribed the Aqaba Marine Reserve on the World Heritage List, recognizing its Outstanding Universal Value and celebrating its unique marine biodiversity.
This achievement marks an important milestone in Jordan’s efforts to protect natural heritage and preserve marine ecosystems, while further strengthening Aqaba’s position as a world-class destination for eco-tourism and diving.
