Jordanian passport holders can now enjoy faster, smoother airport procedures at Queen Alia International Airport with the newly introduced Smart Gates. This advanced biometric system allows travelers to pass autonomously through arrivals and departures using iris scans and passport data.

Gate Availability:

• Arrivals Hall: 5 Smart Gates
• Departures: 4 Smart Gates

Who Can Use Smart Gates:

• Jordanian citizens
• Passport valid for at least 6 months
• Registered iris scan
• Age 16 years or older

How to Register:

1. Download the Sanad – سند app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).
2. Register with your National Number and personal details to create a username and password.
3. Activate your account by visiting the nearest Sanad service desk, or if you are an ARAB Bank client, any nearby branch. Bring your ID for in-person verification.
4. Once your account is linked to your valid passport, you can use the Smart Gates for one year without re-registration.
