Russia and Jordan to Introduce Visa-Free Travel from December 13, 2025

The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that Russia and Jordan will mutually abolish visa requirements for their citizens, effective December 13, 2025. The agreement, signed in Moscow on August 20, 2025, allows Russian passport-holders to enter and stay in Jordan for up to 30 days per visit, with a maximum of 90 days per year. Jordanian citizens will enjoy the same conditions when visiting Russia. The visa-free arrangement does not permit visitors to work, conduct business, study, or reside permanently in the other country. Officials expect the new policy to boost tourism and strengthen cultural exchanges between Russia and Jordan.
