Royal Jordanian and Air China signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Beijing during King Abdullah II’s visit, aiming to strengthen partnership between the two carriers and enhance air connectivity between Jordan and China. The cooperation covers code-sharing, reciprocal transport agreements, training, marketing, and operational support such as ground services, cargo, and catering. The MoU also explores opportunities to launch new routes, most notably a direct flight between Amman and Beijing, boosting global competitiveness, expanding travel options, and supporting tourism, business, and cultural exchange between the two countries — a strategic step toward building a more efficient and seamless “air bridge.”
